Groups that benefit
Hook Fun Run & Road Race is an an entirely non-profit making event. We are grateful to our 2009 lead sponsors, Lamberts of Hook Limited who, along with our other sponsorship partners, covered most of our running costs. This has ensured that proceeds from entry fees can go directly to local charities and community organisations in the Hook area.
Over £56,000 has been raised in the 18 years that the event has been running. We are delighted that over £6,000 was available from the 2009 event for us to donate to groups that included:
- Hook Junior School
- Hook Infants School
- Hook Junior School Development Trust
- The Base Youth Club
- Hook Explorer Scout Group
- Hook Scouts
- 2nd Odiham Scouts
- Odiham District Explorer Scouts
- Hook Players
- Hook United FC
- Hook & Odiham Lions
- Stepping Stones
- Hart Voluntary Action
- Army Benevolent Fund
- Hampshire Constabulary Welfare Fund
