Results from 20th May 2007Thanks to everybody who either ran or helped to make the 2007 Hook Fun Run & Road Race a great success. The weather was just about perfect and a 500% improvement on last year's monsoon. We had a record 865 finishers across the 4 runs. It was great to see so many people, especially the large number of people who stayed on in the field after the presentation. A special thank you to Arthur Bundy for his help with the trophies. Arthur was again the oldest runner on the day and we apologise profusely for forgetting to present him with the Mary Dearlove trophy. Apologies for the false start in the toddlers race. Our chairman has been permanently banned from going anywhere near the toddlers race in future years! Full results are attached below. Please send any queries about the results to results@hookfunrun.com. We would love to hear your thoughts about the event - please send them to comments@hookfunrun.com. |

To view the photos from the 2007 fun run (and also 2002 - 2006), please click on the link below: www.photoboxgallery.com/hookfunrun This takes you to a PhotoBox gallery that contains all the pics from the day. Getting copies of the photos - there are a number of ways for you to get copies: 7 inch by 5 inch photos: PhotoBox themselves offer an online print service and will send them to you directly. Details are with the pictures on their website from the link above. We have set this up for 7 * 5 inch prints only. We have no association with PhotoBox, but quality appears to be very good from results we've seen. For larger prints: We can also supply bigger prints (any size you want) at reasonable prices, by supplying the reference of the photo you want (from the PhotoBox site). Email pete@bryanworld.net for further details if required. Home printing: For those wanting to make prints at home using an inkjet printer, various file sizes (JPEGs and TIFFs) can be emailed to you for a modest fee - again please email pete@bryanworld.net for more details if you're interested.
