Results from 16th May 2004
Thank you to everybody who took part or helped to make the day such a great success. The weather was fantastic - sunny and warm but not too hot. Apologies to everybody who could not get a running number - we had a record number of entries and ended up sold out on all three races.A big thank you to our main 2004 sponsors - George Wimpey
We had three new course records. In the 10 mile mens race, Toby Lambert from Alton Runners broke the old record by just under 2 minutes - a fantastic achievement. In the 2.5 miles event, Charlotte Purdue from AFD AC set a new record time for the ladies, while Daniel Seabrook from Basingstoke & Mid-Hants AC improved his own course record by 39 seconds.
