| In 2002 we had a
lovely sunny day and a record number of entries. Apologies
to everybody who could not get a running number and had to be turned away.
For the second year running we were very pleased to welcome our special guest, Olympic medallist Kate Allenby, to Hook. Kate started some of the races, presented prizes, and was generally a good sport. Please follow the links below to find the full results. The information will pop up in a separate browser window. |

The Mary Dearlove Trophy for the oldest participant in any race was won by Gerald Watts. Gerald was 75 years old on the day and successfuly completed the 2.5 mile road race. Our special thanks go to Richard Dean for his invaluable assistance with all of the computerised results. Many thanks also to Old Mutual International, based in Hook, who once again generously sponsored the electronic timing equipment used for the event. |
